Criterion Trailers, LLC is a newly formed division of Rhino Metals, one of the leading security safe manufacturers in the country. Rhino Metals has been in business since 1995 and produces the popular Rhino, Bighorn, Kodiak, Longhorn, and Ironworks safe brands. It’s 58,000 SF headquarters are located in Caldwell, Idaho.

Our History

In December of 2017, Criterion Trailers, LLC was formed to meet the increasing demand for quality trailers in the western U.S. The trailer manufacturing plant is headquartered on an 11 acre, 53,000 SF facility located 4 miles outside of Caldwell, Idaho.

Our Staff

The Criterion staff is comprised of seasoned trailer industry veterans and experts in trailer production. The managing partner, Ray White, has 18 years in the trailer industry, having worked as plant manager for Pace American and Mirage, and as the GM for Haulmark, as well as plant manager for Rhino Metals guns safe manufacturing plant, located in Caldwell Idaho.

The General Manager, Trent White, has 22 years in trailer production. He was the founder of TNT trailers and has served as General Manager and/or production manager for Pace, Haulmark, Mirage, and now Criterion.

Criterion has an in-house engineering staff. Trailers are designed using state-of-the-art 3D modelling software, allowing computed aided stress analysis of designs.

Warranty Claims – Overview

  1. Warranty Begins on date of sale to the customer.
  2. Warranty card is required to be on file at Criterion
  3. Prior approval is required for any warranty claims.

Warranty Claims – Overview

  • The dealer must email a Warranty Claim Form to Criterion’s Warranty Manager
  • The Warranty Manager will review and call dealer with any questions
  • If the claim is approved, the Warranty manager will sign the form, authorizing the work and email back to the dealer
  • Criterion will send parts as necessary
  • Upon completion of the work, the dealer will sign the warranty claim form and email back to Criterion.
  • Upon receipt and review, a credit memo will be issued and the dealer will be notified via email.
